Join us in supporting Maxime Parot and Vahideh Akbari who are representing the Faculty of Forestry, Geography and Geomatics in the Laval University final of «My thesis in 180 seconds competition»!

Maxime Parot, finalist – Francophone section
Doctoral student in wood and bio-based materials engineering

WHEN AND WHERE? Wednesday, March 22 at 12:00 p.m. at the Cercle (4th floor, Pavillon Alphonse-Desjardins, Université Laval).

The event will be broadcast live on YouTube and will feature the 12 finalists, 9 of whom will participate in the Francophone section and 3 in the Anglophone section. The public will be able to ask questions live to the doctoral candidates during the jury’s deliberations and vote for the Coup de Coeur awards. The final will also be available for replay.

The winner of the French section will represent Laval University at the national finals presented by Acfas on May 13 in Montreal. The winner of the English-language section will participate in the Eastern Canada finals of the Canadian Association for Graduate Studies (CAGS) on June 13 in Halifax, as well as in the Northeastern Association of Graduate Schools (NAGS).
