The guest speaker is Professor and researcher Maude Toïgo from the Forestry Department of Bordeaux Sciences Agro, France.

Details:

Three main themes will be addressed: the first two concern the productivity of mixed stands as well as the combined effects of biotic and abiotic stresses on defoliation and tree growth. The third theme is more integrative of the wood industry since it involves carbon balance characterization of the french forest resource using forest dynamics models.

Conference speaker: Maude Toïgo, professor and researcher at Bordeaux Sciences Agro and member of the international research network « forest, wood, market and society» (2RI FORWARD), of which the University of Laval is a member.
