Congratulations to Paul Wellenreiter who successfully defended his doctoral thesis in wood and bio-based materials engineering on February 18 under the direction of Roger Hernández and the co-direction of Carl Blais (FSG-UL). Paul was working on the improvement of cutting conditions for sugar maple and black spruce wood in helical planing.
