18 October 2022

Congratulations to Maxime Saulnier, a Master’s student in Agroforestry in the Faculty of Forestry, Geography and Geomatics, who has received a $10,000 scholarship from Canadian Forest Owners (CFO) to support the final stage of his studies. His research is being conducted as part of the Leadership Chair in Sustainable Private Forest Management Education (Maude Flamand-Hubert) and aims to document the agroforestry practices of small forest owners in Quebec, as well as to reveal the obstacles encountered in implementing these practices. The results of Maxime’s project will contribute to the development of better policies to support agroforestry on private forest lands.
