Matheus Roberto Cabral successfully defended his PhD thesis in Wood and Bio-based Materials Engineering on September 21, 2022, under the supervision of Pierre Blanchet. Matheus was working on the «Use of multi-criteria analysis as a strategic tool for material selection in engineered construction».

Ingrid Calvez successfully defended her PhD thesis in wood and bio-based materials engineering on September 27, 2022. Her project is titled «Strategies for gloss modification of high solids photopolymerizable coats », under the supervision of Véronic Landry and the co-supervision of Caroline Szczepanski.

Imen Elloumi successfully defended her Ph.D. thesis in wood and bio-based materials engineering on October 3, 2022. Her research work focuses on the « Study of the impact of wood temperature and moisture content on the performance of squaring machines – fragmenters », under the supervision of Roger Hernandez and the co-direction of Carl Blais.

Biaorong Zhuang successfully defended his Ph.D. thesis in wood and bio-based materials engineering on October 17, 2022, on « the Use of softwood for OSB production», under the supervision of Alain Cloutier and the co-direction of Ahmed Koubaa.
