Call for communications Colloque 210 de l’Acfas : L’industrie de la transformation du bois à l’heure de la transition écologique et énergétique

Over the last few decades, the wood industry has greatly transformed and diversified. New ways to valorize the by-products of this industry are currently being developed and will allow to diversify and optimize the use of wood. For example, a lot of promising work has been done on forest bioenergy and the use of cellulose fibers, nanocrystalline cellulose and lignin. In the same vein, new products for the protection, finishing, gluing or modification of wood with low environmental impact and increased performance have been developed or are under development. This conference will provide an update on the latest advances in biomaterials, advanced materials and bioenergy in the wood industry.

The conference will take place over two days. The first day will be dedicated to advances in adhesives, composite panels, finishing products, insulation and other materials used in the construction industry. A second day will be dedicated to the presentation of the latest innovations in the field of forest bioenergy and the valorization of various compounds from forest residues.
