Alexis Achim obtains an NSERC Alliance grant to validate and refine Quebec’s forest roads!

Congratulations to Alexis Achim (UL-CRMR) and Nicholas Coops (UBC) who received a $189,000 NSERC Alliance grant to validate and refine the alignment of Quebec forest roads using LiDAR data.

The project partners are the Ministère des Forêts, de la Faune et des Parcs and Domtar.

Jean-Romain Roussel, postdoctoral intern at the CRMR and the MRQ network will be in charge of the methodological development.
