The work of four CRMR members, Professors Tatjana Stevanovic and Alexander Salenikovich, postdoctoral fellow George Thibaut Kouba Yoya and M.Sc. student Samuel Cuerrier Auclair, leading to the filing of two patents was recognized by the Office of the Vice Rector and Innovation of Université Laval during a tribute ceremony. Tatjana Stevanovic and George Koumba developed an Organosolv process for the extraction of highly pure lignine. Alexander Salenikovich and Samuel Cuerrier Auclair, alongside Professor Luca Sorelli (Faculté des sciences et génie, Université Laval), developed a fibre reinforced concrete connector for mixed wood-concrete structures.
