A new scientist for the CRMR

The CRMR would like to welcome Mr. Sébastien Migneault, professor at IRF (Institut de recherche sur les forêts) at the Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue (UQAT). Specialist in wood-based composites and biomaterials characterization, his work has helped to better understand their reinforcement mechanisms from a mechanical, physical and chemical point of view, but also to exploit underutilized resources for the production of composites (medium density fiberboard, wood-polymer composites). Mr. Migneault is also involved in the development of a bioenergy axis within UQAT for the recovery of wood chips.
